Tired of seeing lights left on in un-occupied rooms? Fan in the bathroom always left running? These countdown timer switches, sometimes called a "timed lag switch" can relieve that frustration, and save you money! Offers timed increments of 10-20-30-60 minutes. These stylish timer switches ensure that you do not leave lights and appliances on longer than necessary. Press the timer button you need and the LED next to the selected button lights up. As the time counts down, the lit LED moves down until at 2 minutes before shut-off the LED flashes to indicate impending shut-off. The button at the bottom is a manual OFF button. Use it in areas where lights normally only need to be on for a short time, like bathrooms, laundry room, garage, kitchen, mud room, or in any other place where you often find uneeded lights left on! Also can be used on non-lighting loads, like exhaust fans, attic fans, bathroom heaters, jaccuzzi, hot tubs, pool motors, sprinklers, and more! All install easily into a regular single or multi gang wall box in place of a standard switch. Now includes a matching screw-in trim plate.

Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent... Comment: Have had this timer installed for about two months and trouble-free. Installation is straight forward. This item requires a neutral wire hook-up. Unit sits deep so re-arranging existing wiring in box may be required. Simple to use and adds a nice, high-end feel. When switching on/off, makes less of a clicking noise than a manual switch. Overall, a great product.
Customer Rating: Summary: Electronic Timer Comment: I use this timer to control the bathroom heater and fan.
When you have children, sometimes one of them forgets to turn off either the fan or the heater. This timer eliminates that problem. Just set it to a time and when it's counted all the way down, it shuts what's connected to it off.
You can also stop the timer by pushing the "shut off" button at the bottom.
Customer Rating: Summary: Still going strong Comment: Out of all the bathroom fan swith timers I have seen I still like this one the best. Simple installation, simple operation, does just what we need.
I bought four of them almost five years ago and they are all still working just fine. I came here today to order some more for my daughter's condo.
The only criticism I have is the size of the unit can make it a challenge to install if your switch box is jammed with anything else that will take up a lot of space (like a dimmer, for example).
I got really tired of coming home at the end of the day to find somebody had left a fan running all day long. This is a simple solution to the problem.
Customer Rating: Summary: flimsy buttons break within a year Comment: Looks good, works great until the tiny plastic tabs on the back of the buttons that hold them to the switch receptacle start to break off. This is with once or twice daily use, not an unusual load.
Using tiny plastic bits as functional parts that take stress is a bad design idea.
Too bad, because i was really happy with this product.
Customer Rating: Summary: Verify that your existing setup has a neutral wire before ordering Comment: A year ago I replaced a fan switch with one of those dial-timer switches which was very easy to install. I thought this switch looked a lot better and the quiet operation sounded great also so I purchased it. According to the manufacturer's website, most new house's electrical systems include a neutral wire configurations and since my house is one year old it did not occur to me check before ordering. My configuration only has a 3-wire setup and without the neutral wire, the timer won't work. One of my friend's is an electrician so I called him and he said that generally only timers for HVAC systems in residential building have a neutral wire setup. So before you order, verify that your existing setup has a neutral wire, because it probably does not.
