Summary: best kitchen appliance I own
Comment: I bought this little blender after using my mother-in-law's, I was immediately jealous and had to buy one. I threw in a head of roasted garlic, salt, pepper, a bag of dried porccini mushrooms and olive oil and it created a delicious puree that i used in some onion soup--yum! i'm finding tons of uses for it--salsa, tapenade, pesto, etc. so handy!

I've been keeping it pretty busy ever since it came in the mail (about 3 weeks), and it is reliable, easy to clean, and it even made perfect margaritas (single servings!) in a pinch when my regular blender died on me (perfectly crushed ice, my friends). If i got rid of all my other kitchen gadgets except this one and my rice cooker I could still be perfectly happy:)

Comment: I bought this one because it had great ratings on consumer reports website and I needed it for chopping/grinding food for my baby.
It does very well job on chopping, however, some foods cannot be mashed to desired pureeed consistency.
Whould definitely recommend this one!!
