New from KitchenAid, their Blade Coffee Grinder is powerful, durable, stylish and convenient. It has a 200-watt motor with a stainless steel blade to grind whole beans for the freshest taste and the richest aroma. It has a heavy-duty motor housing and bowl with a hi-impact top cover. Its sleek design provides an elegant look, and comes in four smart colors. To use, simply push down on the center top cover and your beans will grind to the consistency desired. Remove the top cover and bowl and pour your ground beans into your coffee maker. Other features include a dual interlock system that locks the top cover in place before grinding, a pulse control, and etched markings to adjust the amount of grinds to your liking.

Summary: Best coffee grinder we have ever had!
Comment: We LOVE our KitchenAid coffee grinder. It is the first one we have ever had (and we have had several) that does not leave a mess all over the counter when we use it. The grinder part is deep. We grind the coffee and pour the grounds directly from the metal part of the grinder, not from the plastic lid, which I think makes this one so much nicer to use than most. We like ours so much that we are ordering a second one to keep in the RV so we don't have to transport the one from home back and forth when we travel.

Summary: Well Built and Reliable Grinder
Comment: This grinder is well worth the money as it functions perfectly every time I reach for it. It has been used about 4 times a week for over one year now, and has never malfunctioned. Also great for grinding spices, but should not be used for coffee once converted into a spice grinder because it becomes permeated with spices permanently.
