Summary: It was brokenin the box, I never even opened it
Comment: I sent for this DVD, and when it arrived in the mail, it made noise when you shook the box it came in. I have been busy, and have not had time to complain about it till now. I want a new,good one, and don't feel it's fair wasting my time shipping it back to you.

Summary: An Excellent Movie to Recommend
Comment: I highly recommend this movie for all individuals who love mythology, folk tales, fairy tales and science fantasy. I was most impressed at the lack of animation and the excellent special effects. I was also impressed with the preformances of Matthew Modine and Vanessa Redgrave. The positive twist in the movie made it even more interesting.

Summary: Great family film
Comment: A great new spin on an old tale. Quality production, acting, and visual effects. We especially loved Jack. The "true" story of Jack as the villain is kept a mystery well into the film. The good giant and his heroic death are memorable. This fun movie would be an excellent classroom addition to showcase point of view, the art of storytelling, etc. All ages can appreciate different levels of meaning in the story.
