Babybug begins a lifelong love of books for infants and toddlers 6 months to 2 years. For babies who love to be read to and parents who love to read to them. It's filled with colorful pictures, simple rhymes, and stories that babies and parents will delight in reading together over and over again.

Customer Rating: Summary: Helped me potty-train my daughter Comment: I got this subscription for my daughter when she was 6 months old. She loved them. They're small enough to put in the bathroom, so I would put her on the toilet and we'd read every morning after breakfast. The poems are catchy and the illustrations are interesting so I don't mind reading them over and over again. They are a higher quality than most children's magazines, too, which means my daughter doesn't tear them to shreds.
I would give Babybug four stars if they released an issue every month (12 per year rather than 9), or if they brought the price down to under $30. Customer Rating: Summary: My 2 year old niece loves this magazine! Comment: I got a subscription for my 2 year old niece to both Babybug and Animal Baby. According to my brother, Babybug is her favorite! Unfortunately, she lives in another town, so I have not been able to see her reaction to her monthly magazine, but I am assured that she loves it! Customer Rating: Summary: Babybug Comment: It took FOUR months for the magazine to arrive -- a ridiculously long time to wait for a subscription to start. I ordered it two months before my granddaughter's birthday thinking that it was sufficient lead time. I e-mailed and also called numerous times for a status of the order but the subscription customer service desk was very unhelpful.
In all fairness, I must say that the magazine/book is quite good, and my granddaughter enjoys it. Customer Rating: Summary: Great gift idea Comment: I ordered this magazine for my daughter when she turned one. It has great pictures and short stories and poems, just perfect for short attentions. Now that she is 18 months she likes to try and "read" them to others. She also likes that there is something in the mailbox for her some days. Customer Rating: Summary: Babybugged Comment: I was really excited when I ordered this for my son. However months went by and we never rec'd magazines. I called customer service and they were very polite and extended our subscription, the next month still nothing, I called customer service again, and they said the post office sometimes doesn't realize what the books are for and don't deliver them, (that really didn't make much sense) So they sent one to me in a specially marked envelope. So here I am again another month later finally rec'd the one they directly mailed me in an envelope. Now I understand why I never got the magazine on it's own, it's really small and thin with only an outer paper attached with address on it. UM....I'm suprised anyone is able to recieve them. However here we are again, no baby bug, I called customer service again and asked if they could switch us to lady bug in hopes the magazine is bigger, we'll see what happens. I told the lady it was too expensive not to receive them.
The content of baby bug seemed way too young for my son, and it's only like 5 pages long. Not worth the price at all.
