Summary: Just right.....
Comment: I purchased this air horn to take to the 2007 Formula One USGP and found it to be very loud as well as long-lasting. After 3 days of periodic use it is still about 30% full.
In a less noisy environment a sporting-type horn may be more appropriate as this is basically a boat horn and is VERY loud.

Summary: Loud and Fun to Use
Comment: We used the air horns to wake up our campers in the morning. It did the trick. The items were not complicated to use. However, I would recommend the use of gloves because the substance is extremely cold. I also recommend dismantling them (taking off the horns) when storing the cannisters or else they will go off when compressed (involuntarily). Great product!
