Formula 2 Plus is designed for those of you who need extra protection and repair for your brittle or peeling nails. Directions: Apply one coat of Formula 2 Plus to bare nail. Reapply one coat daily of Formula 2 Plus over previous coats of this polish. Remove as needed approximately every 4 days and repeat regimen. Switch to Formula #1 or Formula #2 after completing your bottle of Formula #2 Plus. Do not wear nail color during treatment.

Summary: It works, but....
Comment: I've used this, and it did help, but I recently discovered that two of the ingredients in it, toluene and dibutyl phthalate, are highly questionable in terms of safety. Google them if you want to know more. There are also some questions about the formaldehyde resins-- straight formaldehyde has been linked to various cancers, but formaldehyde resins are not believed to be as dangerous.
The FDA tests fewer than 11% of chemicals in personal care products. It's better to avoid the ones that could cause you health problems down the line. I've since switched from this to Nail-Aid's peeling nail intense repair gel. Works just as well without the potential toxins. http://www.nailaidcares.com/

Comment: My nails used to be so weak that you could "see through" the length at the end of the nail... it was never white. My nails used to bend backwards if they had any length at all. I've been using this for about a month and I can't believe how much stronger my nails are and they have finally quit peeling at the tips. I'll use this faithfully due to the results I've received.

Summary: A Lifesaver, for my otherwise short, weak, lil' Fingernails!
Comment: Oh yes, ever since I discovered Nailtiques about 3 years ago I never could have had such long, strong and nice fingernails without it! Your fingernails will grow very fast once you begin to start using it correctly. They not only grow faster, but stronger, and no peeling. They will break-off though, when they get to long and brittle, so proper manicuring is very important to your fingernails appearance. It's advised to also rub in a little oil on your bare nails in between applications, to avoid any breakage. One needs to be very disciplined in utilizing Nailtiques in order to aquire all of it's benefit's and have lovely long fingernails. You will not regret it, I promise!
