Fast Fret is a widely used product which extends the life of your guitar strings. Just glide it on with the applicator and wipe it off with the provided lint-free cloth. It keeps your strings extremely clean and allows you to play faster. It also reduces excessive finger noise. It's not a spray and contains no silicone. It?s a liquid in an applicator. Use it on strings, fretboard, back of neck. Lets fingers slide freely, keeps strings clean, is good for wood. A secret of the pros!

Comment: I agree with all of the reviews, but have found another area to use fast fret on: THE NUT. When tuning, the strings (especially the lower wound strings) hang up on the nut which causes the string to pop instead of slide as it would on a roller nut. Dab Fast Fret onto the nut before tuning, and this problem is greatly reduced.

I like it because it shines and lubricates the entire fretboard, making it easy to wipe away dirt. Also, techniques such as chording and sliding become almost effortless after polishing.

Comment: I've been using this product for 13 years It was the first string cleaner I ever tried, and loved It. It cleans your strings, makes it less harsh on your fingers so you slide better. But be sure when you use it to take the cloth and slide it under the strings as well to clean under them. Also if you are a person who plays all the time you might want to buy two. The only way to tell if your about out of the stuff is wipe it on your palm or something to tell if there is any residue. It's a great product for first time guitar players are even people who have been playing since they was 7 years old like me.

i used as instructed and it felt like my fingers were moving over my strings a lot smoother.

i agree with the other reviewer saying to buy two. i only bought one and i cannot tell if i am low or not. great product though

Summary: String cleaner? More like string saver!
Comment: Well, I started using fast fret back in 2005, and I've been buying it every since. If you use it as recommended (put on/wipe off before/after playing) it makes your strings sound brand new for well over a month. Once I got a pair to last for about four months! One tip I have is to buy two "bottles" of it because you can't really tell when you are getting low on the stuff. that way if one bottle gives out on you there's one in reserve.

I highly recommend this product both as a musician and someone who hates changing strings (and buying them!)
