The gourds are organically grown in San Diego, CA, and are chosen because of their thickness. Each gourd body is carefully selected and matched with its soundboard; a strap strung with colorful beads is attached so you may easily wear or display the gourd piano. Dimensions average approximately 7.63" diameter (at the widest point) x 2.75" thick. The gourd piano features a hand-rubbed oil finish, and an occasional cleaning with lemon oil polish will keep your piano looking like new.
