Summary: Wouldn't Recommend It
Comment: I bought this product at a local Game Crazy store and was pretty satisfied with it for a couple of months. Then, it started acting really weird. When I was playing my games, the control stick seemed normal and everything, but, even when the stick wasn't being touched, my character (or curser, depending on the instance) kept moving in one direction. At first it was moving down, then it moved to the right, and finally to the top. It made game playing very frustrating and aggravating. When I was playing Animal Crossing, my character would always be moving in some direction when I wasn't even touching the controller, and when I wanted to type something, the controller kept moving the cursor in the wrong direction, giving me the wrong letter. There was more to it than that, but I think you get the idea.

Anyway, so I took it back to the store the other day to get either a refund or a replacement. The guy there said that since it had been a couple of months, he probably couldn't do anything and I'd have to see the manufacturer if he couldn't. Turns out he could and I got a new one for no cost. So far, it seems to be working fine. I'd personally recommend an actual Nintendo brand controller, just to simplify things. I've never had any problems with platform brand products.

Summary: Works great for both Wii and Gamecube!
Comment: (3 stars - after using this for a month and bought a second one)

Nintendo stopped the production of the "Wavebird". Nothing can beat the Wavebird. You can buy the "Classic Controller" that you attach to the "Wiimote", but why would you have a thing dangling on your controller? You can still buy the "Wavebird", but you need to pay for a black market price. And how can you trust a used one?

The "Microcon" is much smaller than Nintendo Wavebird. Good for smaller kids but annoying to larger hands.
Uses 2 AAA's instead of 2 AA's

Pros:
- Very responsive. We are using it for Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
- No channel to set on the receiver and the controller. At times you are baffled why suddenly you lost contact of your "Wavebird" with the videogame machine, realizing you just accidentally nudge the channel selector on the controller.
- The battery cover is attached to the controller. One of our Wavebird battery covers is missing. This wont happen on the Microcon.
- Only 15$?

Cons:
- On/Off switch does not have a light compared to the Wavebird. No light to remind you if you forgot to turn it off.
- No rumble pak.
- Start button is awkwardly positioned. Somewhat difficult to reach during the game.
- Made of very cheap plastic.

Summary: No game, mad katz wireless gamecube controller
Comment: I bought three of them, I already had one that turned out to be much better quality than these that I bought. The controllers pick up each other's signals and switch between player 1, 2, 3, and 4. Yes they even pick up the signal of the one I already had. They do this randomly without warning. They also do not respond very well. Several times, we push buttons or use the joystick yet the game does not do what the controller is doing. This does not happen as often as the signal switching. Overall unsatisfied with this product.

Summary: All dead after a month
Comment: I purchased four of these controllers about a month ago. Of the four, one was dead on arrival. The second had persistent problems with control drift. The third died about a week ago, and the fourth works intermittently.

In addition, these controllers were too small for comfort. Even my girlfriend's small hands were too big for this "micro" controller. (She thinks that the PS2 controllers are too large!)

Amazon sells several other wireless GameCube controllers. (Some even have rumble features!) Spend the extra five or ten dollars and get one of those instead.

Summary: Cheap controller
Comment: Cheaply made controller that works 15% of the time straight out of the box. Left control stick "strays" & doesn't work even after resetting controller. I'm going to return & get another Pelican cordless.
