Customer Rating: Summary: Superb Product--Perfect for Day or Night! Comment: At first glance this product may seem too intense to wear during the daytime but let me persuade you otherwise. By using the suggested brush the unique texture that is a slight dry gel provides eye definition without looking nightclub ready at 9 am. However, when you're ready to rock 'n roll this product can go on thicker and smudged creates a perfect smoky eye. Additionally it stays on until removed and does not flake or smudge once dry. The pot it comes in is quite large and deep so the purchase price actually is not excessive. Great product from a dependable favorite line. Now, I won't lie... this is pretty simple to apply, you take your brush and rub it on the eyeliner and then put it on your eyelid or your face...etc. And yes, it does last close to all day, if not all day. I usually only have to re-apply once a day, unless I'm out, and hot, then maybe twice.
What dissapointed me was this:
With eyeliner that needs to be applied with a brush, I expected it to be more creamy. I did not expect a semi crumbly cream that is hard to get on the brush.
Also, after applying this, usually my eyes will water a lot, and burn slightly. When I let a friend try it out, she also said her eyes were burning, and there were tears falling down her cheeks. I don't know if this is just because we have sensative eyes, or if there is something in there that is dangerous to your eyes.
All in all, I like the effect I get, and the black is definitely black, which is a big problem with a lot of eyeliner these days. I like the compact with the mirror as well. I would suggest this eyeliner to others, without a doubt. Just make sure that you are expecting a semi-cream formula, not a cream formula. Hint: Apply a line just above the upper lash roots to make lashes look fuller and thicker. Amazing!
