Spotlight customer reviews:
Customer Rating: Summary: Keen's are all they're cracked up to be Comment: The Venice H2 style of the Keen selection is a delight. Not only do they offer several color combinations, but the styling is so practical, so comfortable, and so..."hip" for a lack of a better term.
How the insole cradles the foot has to be experienced. The odor controls, the cinch up "lacing," the protective rubber toe guard which blends in with the styling, the over all light-weightedness...are all features to die for.
The Keen is an ideal indoor-outdoor casual shoe for home, garden, beach, shopping, or restauranteuring. Customer Rating: Summary: Wonderful, comfortable, practical shoes! Comment: Took my first pair of these with me on vacation & truly would not have needed any other shoes. (Terrain included streets, beaches, rocks) My feet stayed very comfortable, they are rugged, and very easy to keep clean. Pretty cute colors also. These are very much worth the price, had previously tried another brand but these are MUCH more comfortable. Customer Rating: Summary: Supportive but sweaty! Comment: I do like these shoes a lot--they're great for gardening, hiking, biking, running on the treadmill, etc. They don't have quite as much arch support as my Birkenstocks, which was a bit of a disappointment, but I'm finding my feet don't ache at the end of the day either, so it must be just enough support for my high arches. And it was kind of hard to run in my Birkenstocks--though I did it--because I'm a dork :). It's just that I'm not a tennis shoe person, at all. So getting used to the closed in feeling of the Keens may take awhile. My biggest complaint about them is that the synthetic material of the footbed makes me feel so hot. I sweat quite a bit with these, which has never been an issue for me before. I don't sweat as long as I'm moving but as soon as I'm still, I do. So that's my #1 problem with these, and I'm surprised no one else has mentioned it. Also, definitely order a half size up from normal with the Venice. Customer Rating: Summary: The Best Shoes Ever Comment: These are the best shoes! I walked for miles without difficulty, pressure points, or blisters. They are so comfortable I barely knew they were on my feet. I highly recommend them. Customer Rating: Summary: good hiking sandal Comment: I bought these to wear in Hawaii for hiking and exploring waterfalls and trails. I did get a blister the first day wearing them barefoot. But with socks they were great! Good traction and grip on rocks, even when slippery! Easy to clean.
