Summary: the taste leaves little to be desired
Comment: I got my MACA powder about 2 wks ago and I was excited since I had heard so many good things about it. However, I have to say the taste and smell has made me very nauseous. I just tried mixing it with soy milk and it was just too much for me. I only mixed about a tsp into 10oz of soymilk. I could taste it and smell it at every gulp. I don't know if these reviewers got a different batch than I have but it definitely smells HORRIBLE. Like I want to throw up every time it passes under my nose. Since I am a college student, I just can't waste the entire thing like that. So I decided to make my own capsules. I feel like I can definitely make more than 300 veggie capsules with this bag. I have no problem drinking 6 capsules to drinking this raw MACA. Plus making my own capsules will probably end up cheaper than buying the capsules from another company. Then at least you know exactly what is going in it and you can buy another powder and mix that into the capsule too. And I would buy it again for that reason.
Definitely an acquired taste.

Summary: Great "Secret Ingredient"
Comment: This product tastes great to me, and I use it in a lot of different dishes like chili, hot cereal, stew, chili relleno sauce, braised meats, sauces, and on and on. It adds a certain something to sweet and savory dishes when added as a condiment, and of course your recipe is a secret, for no one can identify the little added flavoring.

Comment: I have used Maca for over a year. I feel better when I drink it in a shake and it seems to clear my head. I think it helps me think better personally.
I add it to my protein drinks in the morning before work.
