Sturdy construction - just like a regular 20" bicycle with regular handlebars, seat and pedals. Attaches easily and quickly to almost any bicycle with a seatpost, and folds up for storage when not in use. And it even comes with a safety flag to alert motorists. The Co-Pilot is great for the whole family, nothing says togetherness like a family bike ride!

Comment: Purchased the WeeRide Co-Pilot Bike Trailer for our trip to the beach. What a great purchase! Our 5-year old felt he was in control and had the best time ever. We still use it around the neighborhood as he asks to go for a ride every night.

Summary: Great addition to our bike rides!
Comment: We have been very happy with this addition. Our pre-schooler loves the feeling of contributing to pedaling! The only thing to watch out for is balancing while turning, and be sure the little ones wear helmets! It is very fun and great family time!

Summary: Great bike, Lots of FUN
Comment: We bought this tandem bike with free shipping directly from Amazon. It shipped very quickly, was easy to assemble and our 4 and 1/2 year old loves it. she is a little tall for her age, so I am not sure if a shorter 4 year old would do as well. She loves the flag in the back that helps motorists see the bike and she pedals all the time. Definitely worth the money! At first there is a little getting used to having a kid on the back throwing the balance off (my daughter is still in training wheels on her regular bike), but this was never really an issue-- just an observation. I also think that it is helping her learn how to balance on a bike so that she can soon ride her own bike without her training wheels.

Summary: Unusable!
Comment: This arrived at my house with a big hole in the box and missing the instructions, the pedals and the handlebar hardware. So I went through the effort of returning it to Amazon (since they wouldn't just ship the missing parts to me, no, I had to get an entire replacement. So in the replacement shipment the pedals and instructions were there, but still no hardware to attach the handlebar. So I had to go to my local bike shop and I'm still waiting for them to receive the part, and it's going to be like $50 for this solution. So now summer's almost over and my kid has lost interest (at first he was so excited to ride it and now he just doesn't care). What a piece of garbage!

Summary: We ride together now!
Comment: This product is priced relatively low and it arrived very quickly. It was obviously made in China. After I made some adjustments to the wheel and chain guard(shipping damage?), this product has performed very well. Great for kids to learn riding, rules of the road, etc., while they keep up! I recommend this product to parents with kids aged 3 to 5.
