Comment: The set looks amazing, but the plastic seems a bit cheap. I had thought the plastic would be solid, and a bit more heavy.

Summary: Conversation Piece
Comment: I saw Voodoo knife holder (April 2008), in a store in Italy and being a chef, I had to have it (store was closed at the time)....Great looking knife holder... More of a conversation piece than a practical knife holder..... Too soon to tell how long it would take everyday use. Knives are OK, not chef quality but for an item under $100 I think it worth the money. BTW. In Italy, they were asking 99 Euros for it ($165 at the time). I'm happy with purchase. It looks fantastic on the kitchen counter.

Comment: I've been wanting this set for a long time, but turned off by the high price elsewhere. When I found it on Amazon for half the price on other sites and catalogs, I decided to go for it - and glad I did. It's a super conversation starter, really funny and quirky, as well as the best knives ever. These are well designed, high quality knives that I use every day. I'm not sorry I finally went for this one.

Comment: I guess I should have read the description closer. The holder is plastic and looks kind of cheap. The knives (that I didn't necessarily need) are nothing special. This would have been amazing had the holder been ceramic (or the likes) and you had the option to not order the knives.
