This American Weigh AMW-100 pocket scale comes in black and silver (with this purchase you will receive a black color scale) is Great for precision weighing on the go and has a 1543 x 0.1 grain or 100 x 0.01 gram (Capacity x Resolution). The display is an easy to read Backlit LCD. It's Flip-open lid helps protects the delicate weighing surface and the Stainless Steel weighing platform resists stains and makes cleaning easier. The Power is provided by 2 x AAA (included). American Weigh provides a 10 year limited warranty. Calibrates with a 100 gram weight (not included) by user.

Comment: This is a very nice little scale. I have checked it to another scale. Both read the same. (Lee Safety Powder Scale) This is used to weigh gun powder. Make sure the AC vents are not blowing on this scale, it will change your read out. Oh, and you will need the Calibration weight. You will need to order it too.

Comment: This is an ideal scale for coin collectors, jewelry or any need to weigh small items under 100 grams. I used to work in an engineering lab this has a real nice instrument grade feel it is not a toy. At reasonable price you can weigh to 0.01 gram other pocket scales only weigh to 0.1 gram. Has Gram, OZ, Carat, Grain and tare weight modes very easy to use and portable. Don't forget to order the 100 gram calibration weight also. You will not regret this purchase.

Comment: I got this little scale to weigh out my vitamin c powder and other health food stuff at home in the kitchen. It's very, very precise and easy to use. It's also cheap enough so that if I should just spaz out and destroy it I could buy another one without too much worry. Not sure how I got along without it.
