Potion 9 A Magical Idea An exotic trip to the Amazon rainforest inspired a hair product idea: a magical cream-gel infused with renewable and sustainable botanical extracts, but 2, 3 or even 4 were not enough. This potion needed 9 essential extracts to help restore lost moisture, revitalized damage and rejuvenate the condition of hair. The magic 9 are: jojoba seed oil, safflower seed oil, sesame seed oil, babassu oil, olive oil, evening primrose oil, rice bran oil, willow bark extract and green tea lead extract. And the magic doesn't stop there. This treatment is also wearable, making it perfect for styling hair. When potion 9, Sebastian created an original category for hair industry: wearable treatment. Even now it have never been duplicated... magic never is!

Customer Rating: Summary: A good hair product that lasts a long time Comment: I'd recommend this for anyone with very dry hair, along with Fekkai's hair glossing cream. Both brands are also cruelty-free, which is a big plus; in addition, I've found that both products should also last quite a long time because they are very concentrated. Customer Rating: Summary: actually works really well Comment: I put this "Sebastian Potion 9 Wearable Treatment 5.1 oz" in my hair just as soon as i got done drying off. i didnt dry my hair as much as usual though. this stuff gave my hair a really nice shine. and did a 'decent' job holding it in place. however, i had already bought (in the same purchase) some of "Sebastian Laminates Crema Styler Anti-Frizz Control 5.1 oz" ...so i put that in my hair...
about 10 min later i put on my motorcycle helmet and road to work. by the time i got there, my hair was of course dried. i took a look in my review mirrors and noticed that my hair looked way more full and was still shiny.
i've been searching for hair products for a while that would give my fine/short hair a shine and volume.
oh, i also used the "Sebastian Laminates Shampoo Moisturizing Cleanser 8.5 oz" -this stuff seems to work really well also...
(i've only used all these one time, and i already notice a difference) Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent styling aid for fine hair Comment: This product probably deserves 5 stars, but I saved the extra star for Phytofix, which I prefer. Nevertheless, Potion 9 is lightweight, non greasy, and non flaky. I distribute a drop the size of a pea throughout my damp hair and let it air dry. The result is bouncy and never weighed down. It looks great, smooths out the flyaway of shorter hairs (from new growth), keeps humidity-induced frizz at bay during those sweltering summer, and prevents static explosions in the dead of winter. Best of all, the ingredients are non toxic, at last according to the Environmental Work Group. I hope Sebastian never stops making this product. Customer Rating: Summary: Magic in a dime-sized dollop Comment: I have fine hair, so most conditioners weigh it down. My hair, nevertheless, goes frizzy on humid days. Not with this product! A dime-sized dollop worked through while my hair is wet keeps it smooth but not greasy, and surprisingly it seems to add volume as well.
If left to air-dry, Potion No. 9 holds my hair in place like a mousse (I have short hair). When blow-dried, this prevents split ends and adds a nice shine.
