Customer Rating: Summary: Great Buy! Comment: Being new to the biking sport, I wanted a pair of biking shorts that wouldn't break the bank,yet give me riding comfort. These shorts provide comfort in the crotch area that had previously been sore after riding with normal summer shorts. They are easy to care for and have lasted over 15 washings so far without fading. Pad is a bit stiff, but it distributes the saddle load well. I have since purchased two additional shorts from different manufacturers. In comparison, this pair is average. Nashbar shorts (about the same price point) breathe/wick moisture better, however, the chamois is less padded. Pearl Izumi shorts have good padding and wick moisture well, however, cost more than double. I live in Hawaii, ave temp high 80's, so moisture control is important.
