Summary: Not really for voice recording
Comment: I was looking for a voice recorder that I would ALWAYS keep on me--so I can make a note to myself in the car, outside doing the lawn, etc. This isn't it for 4 reasons.
1. You have to speak very loudly into it. (A separate problem is that the manual is badly translated so it's hard to tell whether you can do something with a setting that might adjust the microphone.)
2. To record you have to hold down one button for three seconds, press it a second time, press a second button, and press the second button a second time, I think, watching the lights on the watch to make sure the button presses are registering. I can't do that driving.
3. I can't get it to record a message without overwriting the previous message, so you can only make one note at a time.
4. It's not waterproof or even water resistant.
My only other complaint is that it's a little too thick to wear under a long-sleeve shirt. But it's not what I was hoping for.
(This watch appears to go under no brand name, but I've seen it from other sellers. The giveaway is the 45 and the 15 printed inexplicably on the face.)

Comment: The device works alright but the instructions are almost useless. Surprises (not all bad ones at all) include that the watch is rechargable off a USB port or an included wall socket adaptor. I have no idea what kind of batteries it has or whether they'll be replacable when they reach a memory, but it's run for a few hours now off its first charge. IF you have a need to LAWFULLY record conversations without the knowledge of others around you, then realize a blinking red light comes on the face of the watch as it records. This limits its utility but you can come up with a solution or two. It's handier than carrying a separate recorder all the time...Plays tunes okay, also. 1 minute of conversation was about 300 kb of mp3, so you can do the math; the data port must be open to record voice (not mentioned in directions) and the sound quality isn't fantastic, but was clearly audible with some background noise. Then again, it's about $150 cheapter than the other mp3/voice recorder watches I saw. Overall, useful, highly portable, too bad you can't turn off the red blinking lights.
