Summary: A disappointment
Comment: I'm reviewing the second unit I've had. I returned the first one because of static on the display, but the second one exhibits the same problem, and other reviewers have reported it, too. Summary: Static on the screen, EXTREMELY slow performance, doesn't show AVIs at all, can't play MP3s while viewing photos. It's a barely-adequate display for JPGs. The only reason I'm not returning it (again!) is that it's fine to leave on my desk at work, and cheap enough that I don't worry about it.

Summary: Buy the Philips
Comment: I purchased this Coby product based strictly on the price point and was once again reminded of the old adage, "You get what you pay for." The screen resolution was terrible. After reading product reviews and looking at demo models at various brick&mortar stores, I purchased a Philips 7" frame. The pictures are sharp and I love the 4:3 aspect. I use Picasa to reduce my files to 800x600 size and they appear fanatstic on the frame.
