Comment: I bought this for our son's first birthday. I wanted to start a birthday tradition for our children - the birthday boy or girl gets the big cupcake! I did a practice run with the pan & it turned out better than I thought it would. You do need two boxes of cake mix to fill the pan 2/3 full, and you'll have enough batter left over to make 12 cupcakes. Great buy!!

Comment: I loved using this pan for my son's first birthday; it was a lot of fun watching him dig into this huge cupcake. I was glad that I read reviews on the pan first because the cake turned out perfectly the first time. Here are the two important tips I learned from my research before purchasing the pan:
1.) Make sure to fill both sides only 3/4 full
2.) Place the side of the pan with the top of the cupcake in the front of the oven (it bakes faster)
