Comment: I have used the Tom-Tom and Nuvi GPS's before and the Maestro 4250 surpassed them both. Easy to navigate and operate. I highly recommend this product. Good value for the money.

Summary: Not Thrilled
Comment: I bought this for my job to replace a Garmin IQ3600. There are nice features but after 3 months it froze and had to be sent to the company for repair. It took over 1 month to get it back. During which time I had to go purchase another gps (a Garmin which is working flawlessly). My wife now uses the magellan. It continues to freeze up and to unfreeze it I must let the battery fully discharge. It also doesn't find addresses in the address book easily. It tries to identify every potential city in the United States instead of letting you select a state. We've gotten lost with it serveral times now.

From the time I placed this order through Amazon, and from the time received, the order was prossed in an excellent mannor.
I had anticipated that the Magellan may be difficult to set up and place points of interest and travel, but was entirerly wrong.
It is owner friendly and I am well pleased.

Summary: A decent product
Comment: So far so good with this GPS. Battery doesn't last that long, I would say about 2-3 hrs. It does make you go an extra mile if you're not familiar with the place (then again why would you buy a GPS if you're going to use it in a place you know well). I tested this unit out in the city, and some of the direction it told me to take from point A to B was actually longer than the usual roads that I take. So I was kind of disappointed with that part. Other than that it's not a bad device.
