Invicta Pro Diver Collection Case Diameter - 40 MM
Built with careful attention to every detail, the Invicta men's Pro Diver watch stands up to tough climate conditions. With luminous hands and dot indexes, a silver dial, and date display at three o'clock, you'll be able to keep track of time, even in the darkest water. A unidirectional bezel circles the 44-millimeter case and the stainless steel band provides comfort for all-day wear. Powered by precise Swiss-quartz movement, this diver's watch is water resistant to a depth of 660 feet.
Spotlight customer reviews:
Customer Rating: Summary: Would not buy this one. Comment: Watch would not keep time. Also, the stem would not tighten down without shifting the keys on the face. I sent this one back and bought a Pulsar dive watch which I am happy with at this time. Customer Rating: Summary: Great for the price point Comment: This watch has a fairly nice and hefty bracelet and there is the attention to aesthetic detail that is characteristic of Invicta. However, I would like it the center links were not polished because they scratch about as easily as an iPod would, even if it does look spectacular under bright light for a while. This watch does not FEEL as heavy on your wrist as it does in your hand - I suspect this is due to the weight of the bracelet relative to that of the watch.
Although this is not an automatic, I would contend that it is even better as it costs less and is much more accurate. As far as I can tell, the watch is rather waterproof due to the screw-down crown. While it is slightly difficult to get the crown back in after setting the time, I have not encountered the problem of the crown catching and changing the time simultaneously.
The Tritnite numeral makers are kind of annoying in that they glow inconsistently - and it doesn't seem to be directly correlated to the amount of light it has received recently. In addition, they seem to be slightly lighter in color than the hands of the watch. The bezel is really tight at first and is kind of hard to grasp and turn.
Overall, this watch does what it's supposed to do: tell time and look snazzy at a very affordable price.
Customer Rating: Summary: Not Up To Par with the Quality I Have Come to Expect from Invicta Comment: While looking around for a new watch, I stumbled onto a deal on an Invicta watch here on Amazon. I received it and loved it! It worked well and that set me off looking for more watches by Invicta that were attractive and affordable at the same time.
The first watch was the brother to this watch, Pro Diver #8926. It was in the same series, and, if you look at them, the only difference appears to be in the color of the bezel and the face. This watch, however, is not automatic and is a battery operated quartz movement. That was fine with me, as the constant need to reset the automatics after using them for a few days on and a few off is somewhat of a pain.
When this watch arrived I compared it closely. It didn't feel quite as substantial as the other Invicta watches I have owned. I got is sized without problem and was ready to wear it. Then the problem hit.
This watch contains a screw down crown, however it is flawed. When trying to set the watch and screw the crown back down, you hit a problem. There is a point between when the screw catches and when it is open that the watch tries to do both. As a result, the hands still move and I have yet to find a way to set the correct time. Every time I try, the hands move while I am trying to screw the crown back into place.
I have been impressed with Invicta until this point. I am not sure that t will be worth fixing for the price I paid. I will be working with the warranty and we will see what happens. However, this watch should never have made it from the factory into the box.
Customer Rating: Summary: Sturdy watch, used it and liked it. Comment: Bought this watch for a vacation that would include diving in the Caribbean . I've never owned a waterproof watch before and this one stood up to the submersion like a champ.
