Summary: Excellent Find
Comment: I had never heard of this singer before. When I previewed the songs I was expecting the standard little girl voice with meaningless drivel for lyrics. Algebra's voice is very stong and melodic. The lyrics on the cd are well written. She sings them very tight phrasing and clear vocalization. The songs are not over or under produced. I look forward to her next cd.

Summary: Star in the making
Comment: The CD is Awesome!
The first time i heard her (Algebra) voice, i went to Check who's this Songbird with soul on her voice. Thanks to Erro for introducing me to Algrebra.

I waited in anticipation for her CD, and "Porpose" came without dissapointments, & ever-since i bought the CD, i cherish it dearly.
I let a friend to listen to "Purpose" ....and he asked me "who is this Algebra, & where did you get the CD". From there i knew he was uplifted by the CD, & i know he will buy it.
The Songs are great & they have good messages, & i Promise Neo-Soul with this kind of materials from Algebra, is going places & spreading throughout.

This is a MUST HAVE CD, ....I love it, & i give the CD 92% (reserving 8% for critics).

Summary: Fresh and Soulful!
Comment: Algebra Blessett is such a talented artist. It is very refreshing to run across this breath of fresh air in a seemingly stale music industry. I have come to realize that so much of what we listen to these days is not really music; its just prefab, over computer effected, over priced electronic noise. Algebra (along with other lesser known, somewhat underground artists) is giving new life to music. Every song on this album stands on its own merit. The music, lyrics and production are excellent, but her voice and ability to use it really make this thing shine!

Summary: Best of 2008
Comment: This is by far the best album of this year 2008! There's only a few albums that I can actually play the entire album without skipping songs.
For me.... it's all about "Happy After", U Do For Me, Tug Of War, etc....

This girl should be mentioned in every aspect of winning a Grammy.
